UNSW is committed to disability inclusion and ensuring that graduation ceremonies are a milestone that can be enjoyed by all.

Graduation ceremonies are held in the Sir John Clancy Auditorium. There is flat, unobstructed access into the venue, and the foyer and auditorium have a hearing loop. Accessible and assisted listening seating can be arranged inside the auditorium for graduates and guests.

There are some steps to negotiate for graduates crossing the stage, but an access ramp is also available if required.

If you or any of your guests require accessible seating for your graduation ceremony, or specific assistance with any aspect of your graduation experience, please get in touch with us and we can make any arrangements you require.

There is limited accessible parking available in front of the Sir John Clancy Auditorium, accessed through Gate 9. Further accessible parking is available in the Botany Street parking station, accessed through Gate 11. Maps showing accessible routes, accessible parking, accessible toilets and more can be found on the maps page here.

If you have any questions, or would like to clarify any aspect of your graduation experience, please contact the Graduations Team.
