Your student login
Your student login enables access to online resources at UNSW.
Your student ID will be printed on your student ID card (e.g. z1234567). Use your student ID as your zID username (e.g. z1234567@ad.unsw.edu.au).

Updating your password
You will be required to update your password every 6 months for security reasons.
The Identity Access Manager (IAM) website allows you to manage your account.
Free Wi-Fi on campus
UniWide (Wi-Fi) is a fast, secure, wireless network connection for your laptop and mobile device.
WiFi is available from a wide range of locations across our campuses.

A whole range of free software is available to you, including the Microsoft Office 365 package, Microsoft Teams, some specialty software such as EndNote, and much more.

Moodle learning management system
Moodle is the main learning management system for access to course outlines and online learning.
Student email
Email is the main way UNSW communicates with students.
Before you can access your email, you need to enrol in at least one subject. Once enrolled, you will be able to sign in after 48 hours.
Student email (Office 365) is an email service for students and alumni.
Each student is automatically assigned a UNSW email address.
You can log in to your student email via Microsoft Online using your username and password.
