Did you know there is no one-size-fits-all way to approach mental health?   

That’s why this World Mental Health Day, we’re inviting you to experience the '5 Ways to Wellbeing’. These are five evidence-based, simple and effective ways that you can improve and maintain good psychological and emotional health. 🧠 

This year, we’re putting the ME in Mental Health so join us for fun, games and interesting experiences that are all about YOU! 

There will be prizes and giveaways - and every event is free!

What's involved?

  • Relax your body and mind doing yoga with UNSW Fitness and Aquatic Centre (FAC) – yoga mats ready to go at 11am and 3pm 
  • Find your own beat in an African Drumming workshop at 12pm 

  • Ride your emotional waves and find your balance on a surfboard   

  • Play fun games and learn more with the UNSW Health & Wellbeing Ambassadors, UNSW Psychology & Wellness, UNSW Equitable Learning Services and lots more. 

Every person is different, and finding out what works best for ‘me’ is important.

Try out something new this Mental Health Month, and join other students to connect, be active, keep learning, be aware, and help others at the Quad this World Mental Health Day!
