UNSW exchange students will join either the Center for Global Education (CGE) or the Center for Japanese Language and Culture (CJLC) at DU.

UNSW students who wish to study Japanese culture, society and nature in English will join CGE. Those for whom English is not a first language will be expected to have sufficient English proficiency.

UNSW students who wish to study Japanese language and culture in Japanese will join CJLC. They will be expected to have a minimum of one year's study of Japanese at the college level. They will be permitted to take the academic courses run by the appropriate faculty, if there Japanese proficiency is sufficient. However, some course may not be open to exchange students.

Exchange students attending DU are expected to pay the Education Support Fee required by CGE or CJLC at the beginning of each semester.
