The VDP program aims to elevate engineering students by equipping them with the critical soft skills required to become a successful well-rounded engineer. As a participant, you will attend 3 workshops run by EngSoc that will cover key concepts such as: leadership, communication, networking, innovative thinking, teamwork, negotiation, and public speaking. There will also be a charity event where participants will form groups to apply the skills they have learnt by organising and running a stall to raise awareness or funds for a charity. Lastly, in order to complete the program and get AHEGS accreditation, participants must undertake 4hrs of volunteering opportunities either inside or outside of UNSW.
