Want to help improve student health and wellbeing at UNSW?

We're looking for a Chairperson to join the Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) and play an integral part in shaping the direction of health and wellbeing at UNSW.

About the Student Health Advisory Committee

The SHAC represents the health and wellbeing needs of UNSW students and actively advocates for the student body and actions changes to improve the experience for students. The SHAC works with the Health Promotion Unit (HPU), Health Service, and Psychology and Wellness to raise concerns and plan strategies to action these concerns. 

SHAC Chairperson Role

In this paid role, you will have the opportunity to support your peers and shape the direction of health and wellbeing at UNSW.

You will develop skills and experience in:

  • Administration
  • Reporting
  • Collaborating with UNSW Health Promotion Staff to execute action plans
  • Student feedback coordination and evaluation
  • Volunteer coordination

This role is open to both current UNSW domestic and international students.
