About the program

 

Spend your summer at Germany's leading law school! Bucerius Law School offers three challenging three-week summer university programs in various fields of law:

All courses take place from July 1 - 19, 2024 on the campus of Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany. 

Bucerius Summer Programs are designed to offer participants an intensive academic experience. The curricula have been carefully assembled and include workshops, seminars and lectures from renowned academics and legal practitioners. Sessions provide one-on-one interaction with lecturers and tutors and promote comparative treatment of topics through group discussions.

Eligibility

Bucerius Summer Programs cater to applicants who have completed at least two years of law studies at the undergraduate level, or one year of law studies at the graduate level. The summer school also welcomes postgraduate applicants and applications from young professionals.

Enrolment Type and Fees

Enrolment Type: DIRECT ENROLMENT

Fees: €2200 - €2500 tuition fees (depending on program) 

 

Discounts & Scholarships:

  • 30% tuition discount for students from Bucerius partner universities
  • 50% “bring a friend discount” for students who apply and are admitted together with a friend or colleague (they don’t have to enroll in the same program)
  • 1 100% tuition scholarship per program for an academically outstanding student who can also demonstrate a financial need

Academic Credit

Approval for credit transfer is at the discretion of your Faculty. Credit approval can only be given prior to the commencement of a Learning Abroad program - no retrospective requests will be accepted.

Completion of an approved Short Course typically will lead to the awarding of 6 or 12 Free Elective Units of Credit, or where applicable, 6 or 12 General Education Units of Credit toward your UNSW program.

Students otherwise may be approved to take a Short Course on a Not-for-Credit basis.
