The Criminology program is seeking Student Year Representatives to represent the Criminology student community in 2024.

What is a Student Year Representative?

The Student Year Representatives will engage actively with their peers and be a point of contact for students with questions, concerns, opportunities or feedback about the program and its courses.

As part of their role, Student Year Representatives will meet with academic members of the Program once a term to share and discuss matters raised with them by students or any other important issues or observations. They will also maintain regular email contact with the Criminology Program Director between meetings to provide any updates or to address time sensitive matters.

The contribution of Student Year Representatives to the Criminology student community will be recognised through the inclusion of their participation in the scheme on their AHEGS.

How can I apply for this opportunity?

You can nominate yourself to be a Student Year Representative via this online form. Nominations close Monday 11 December 2023.

Under this scheme, up to two students per year level will be appointed as representatives for their year level. If more than two nominations are received for a year level, students will be asked to vote for their Year Representatives via an online survey.
