UNSW Paddington has become the first university campus in Australia to roll out Hidden Disability training, a program designed to support staff, students and visitors with a non-visible disability, to all staff. Students within the Art & Design school are invited to take advantage of the Hidden Disability sunflower by either displaying one themselves (a limited number of free lanyards are available at Arc in Paddington) or keeping an eye out for staff that are wearing a Hidden Disabilities supporter badge. Students do not need a diagnosis to take advantage of the support and the initiative is designed to support a wide range of conditions.

More information on the Hidden Disabilities scheme can be found on posters around the Paddington campus, via the URL below or by contacting Scott Brown on [email protected]
