Challenge perspectives on gender by walking 1 kilometre in high heels!
We're highlighting the silent struggles that women navigate in workplaces, leadership and society.
Get involved by taking on one of these roles:
- Walker – step into the simulation and experience a day uncovering gender bias
- Spotter – gently guide Walkers through their journey, should they need it
- Volunteer – help behind the scenes to make the day run smoothly
- Supporter – amplify the message, help spread the word, and attend on the day along the route
- Donor – contribute women’s shoes for use in the event
Whether you walk, watch, or help behind the scenes, every role makes a difference in having this important conversation.
Event Timeline
10 - 10.30am: Arrival at Alumni Lawn and enjoy pre-walk vibes whilst getting your heels on.
10.30 - 11.30am: Walkers commence the outlined route, where first to the Library Lawn gets bragging rights 😉
11.30am - 12pm: Join a short panel debrief at the Library Lawn finish line.
