Are you arriving or planning to return to Australia in 2022?

UNSW Sydney is excited to welcome its international students back to campus!

To help support your return to life in Sydney and at UNSW, we encourage you to visit the Welcome Centre where a friendly Cultural Mentor will take you through all the important things you need to know as an International Student Studying in Australia. Whether you are a First Year Student and New to UNSW and Australia, or have begun your studies overseas and will be finishing your degree in Australia – visit us! We are excited to meet you.

There are two ways to visit the Welcome Centre:

  1. Online: Cultural Mentors will be hosting weekly sessions so you can learn about opportunities and support services available to you at UNSW. Cultural Mentors will also go through a checklist of everything you need to know to ensure you settle into your studies and university life smoothly. This is also a chance to meet other students who have travelled to Australia, just like you!

Drop into the virtual session anytime between 3pm-5pm, Mondays - Wednesdays from Wednesday 19 January. Please note, when you enter the session you will join a virtual waiting room and will be let in once the next available small group Q&A session is ready to begin.

  2. In person: Currently, the on campus Welcome Centre is closed. Please check back shortly for updates on opening times and location.
