Appointed interns must enrol in internship courses in each Term. Successfully completing the internship and coursework for the associated internship course may contribute 12 UOC towards a UNSW degree, for example:
- COMM3101 – 12UOC (including up to 6 UOC towards each Business School major)
- Successful completion would meet the WIL requirement for Commerce degrees.
- COMM3101 is only available to students who have been offered a Co-op Internship.
Once students are offered an internship by one of our industry partners, Co-op requests enrolment in this course.
- Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture – 6 UOC – ARTS3015 and/or 6 UOC FADA6700
- WIL Central (General Education) - 6 UOC – CDEV3400
- WIL Central (General Education) - 12 UOC – CDEV3012 - can also be used as 2 Free Electives in a Commerce degree
To find out how the UOC from an internship course could contribute to your degree, request a Progression Check via the Nucleus Student Hub.
The successful applicants will be appointed to a 24-week full-time placement with the Industry Partner. Apply for your Co-op Internship Bursary after being appointed to a Co-op Internship. Bursaries for a 24-week placement total $21,500.
If you have any questions about the internships, please direct your questions to the Co-op Office: [email protected].
Please note that due to visa and internship course restrictions, this full-time internship opportunity is only available to Australian Citizen and permanent resident who will be enrolled at UNSW in 2025 as undergraduate student.
