Highlights

The Rikkyo Short-Term Intensive Japanese Program runs from 23 July - 2 August 2024 in Rikkyo University's Ikebukuro Campus (Tokyo).  The entire program comprises 46 hours of Japanese classes including cultural activities and workshops. In addition, some optional cultural events will be offered and there will be ample opportunity to interact with Rikkyo local students.

The program is especially suitable for introductory level learners who have no or little previous Japanese learning experience, and “Beginner” and “Elementary” level classes will be held.

Upon completing the full program, participants will be given a certificate of completion and an official transcript.

Enrolment Type and Fees

Enrolment Type: DIRECT ENROLMENT 

Fees: 250,000 yen (including Tuition fees of 150,000 yen, room and program activity fees)

Academic Credit

Approval for credit transfer is at the discretion of your Faculty. Credit approval can only be given prior to the commencement of a Learning Abroad program - no retrospective requests will be accepted.

Completion of an approved Short Course typically will lead to the awarding of 6 or 12 Free Elective Units of Credit, or where applicable, 6 or 12 General Education Units of Credit toward your UNSW program.

Students otherwise may be approved to take a Short Course on a Not-for-Credit basis.
