Volunteer with SEDIWG | Postgraduate Science student wanted

The Science Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Working Group (SEDIWG) is seeking a voluntary postgraduate student representative from the Faculty of Science to sit in on the Working Group.

About the role

As a student representative, you'll attend all working group meetings (held approximately every eight weeks), represent the student voice, provide constructive and student-centric feedback, support the vision of the Faculty's Equity, Diversity and Inclusion policies, and more. 

Your experience and qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must be currently enrolled as a postgraduate student in the Faculty of Science, with at least one year left of study. You'll also have knowledge and experience of the equity, diversity and inclusion space, and be able to offer insights into the student experience to help shape SEDIWIG programs and direction.

Your application should include a one-page cover letter that outlines the skills and attributes that would assist you in the position and an explanation of why you would be a suitable postgraduate representative. Ideally, this should relate to the required experience and qualification outlined in the role. You should also outline the degree you are enrolled in and which year of study you are currently completing.
