Highlights

The Rikkyo Short-Term Intensive Japanese Program starts on Tuesday, January 9 and ends on Friday, January 26, 2023. The entire program comprises 46.7 hours of classroom instruction on Japanese language plus 25 hours of lectures on Japanese culture and society, including field trips. In this program, “Beginner” and “Elementary” level classes will be held.

Students who have never studied Japanese are also welcome to join the program.

Upon completing the full program, participants will be given a certificate of completion and an official transcript.

Enrolment Type and Fees

Enrolment Type: DIRECT ENROLMENT (Cross-Institutional Study)

Fees: 305,000 yen (including Tuition fees of 150,000 yen, room and board, and program activity fees)

Academic Credit

Approval for credit transfer is at the discretion of your Faculty.

Completion of an approved Short Course typically will lead to the awarding of 6 or 12 Free Elective Units of Credit, or where applicable, 6 or 12 General Education Units of Credit toward your UNSW program.

Students otherwise may be approved to take a Short Course on a Not-for-Credit basis.
