About the program
The AccSoc development program is one of the Accounting Society's initiatives to help the community prepare for challenges in their degree and the professional world. Participants will work one-on-one with a mentor throughout the term, gaining knowledge and learning from their experiences in various areas of social and professional development. With support from AccSoc and the mentor, the program provides opportunities to broaden networks, understand the professional landscape, and enhance interpersonal skills while transitioning into university life. Meetings will be held weekly or fortnightly, alongside participation in various educational and social events throughout the term.

Actuarial Society (ASOC) peer mentoring program

About the program
The Actuarial Society peer mentoring program helps first-year Actuarial Studies students start their university life with a blast! This 8-week program begins with the Peer Mentoring Opening Day and concludes with Closing Day. In between, there will be group meetups where two selected mentors interact with a group of approximately ten mentees. The program offers many benefits, including the chance to develop a sense of belonging within both the university and the Actuarial Society, as well as receiving helpful guidance and tips from peer mentors.

About the program
The BITSA peer mentoring program supports first-year students in transitioning to university life. Open to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Information Systems, Information Systems (Honours), Bachelor of Commerce/Information Systems, or those pursuing Information Systems as a second major, the program fosters academic growth and social connection. Participants are paired in small groups with experienced mentors who will provide personalised guidance on navigating university and how to thrive in the field of Information Systems.
The program features weekly challenges and key events, including an opening event (Week 2), mid-session event (Week 5/6), and closing event (Week 9). These activities are designed to enhance the mentoring experience, offering opportunities for skill-building, networking, and forming lasting connections within the Information Systems community.

About the program
The UNSW Business Society peer mentoring program offers first-year undergraduate students social and academic support to ease the transition into university life. By fostering connections among mentees and mentors, the program provides a welcoming space to build friendships and receive guidance. Mentors assist with navigating UNSW’s resources, selecting courses and majors, and adopting effective study techniques, as well as sharing tips for enjoying campus life.
The program includes an opening event in Week 1, weekly group sessions from Weeks 2–9 featuring activities and challenges, and a closing event in Week 10 to celebrate the journey and connections made throughout the program.

- New Student (Mentee) Registrations
- Open to all new first-year undergraduate students enrolled in a business degree. This includes transfer students to the Business School (ie. anyone who is in their first year of a Business School-related degree)
- Mentoring program registrations are usually held during O-Week, where you can register in person at the society’s O-Week stall and find out more about the program.
- Mentor Applications
- UNSW Business School students in their 2nd year and above are encouraged to apply. Mentors will need to complete an online application form and shortlisted applicants will be required to attend a one-hour group interview. Further details will be available when applications open.

The UNSW Digital Society peer mentoring program is a 5-week initiative designed to support and guide new DigiSoc members as they begin their journey at UNSW. Mentees are paired with a designated mentor to help navigate the wide range of social and professional opportunities available at the UNSW. While the program is primarily aimed at first-year students, it is open to anyone with a passion for technology.

About the program
EcoSoc peer mentoring program offers first-year students the opportunity to connect with a supportive community, and gain the knowledge and resources needed to succeed at university. The program fosters student engagement through weekly 1-hour sessions, where participants are placed in groups of up to eight mentees, supported by 2 mentors, who will guide them through the first 6 weeks at university.
Joining EcoSoc’s peer mentoring program provides the chance to make new friends, be part of a growing support network, and build independence while navigating university life.
