There is currently a sophisticated financial scam targeting international students at Australian and international universities.
The scammers are predominantly targeting Chinese students by posing as officials from the Chinese Embassy or Chinese prosecutors. They are targeting individuals and accusing them of serious money laundering and other offenses. Threats include cancellation of passports and visas, deportation, and imprisonment unless large financial payments are made.

Summary: U21 Global Citizens is an online leadership development course for students at U21 partner institutions. With the support of trained facilitators from Common Purpose, students work together, across borders and time zones, tackling some of the world’s most pressing problems as outlined in the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG).
