Do you want to promote awareness and engagement with Kensington Campus's Indigenous plants? Submit up to three designs for a new logo for the Bush Tucker Trail and you could win $500.

Global Student Fellowship Program

The Australian Human Rights Institute's Global Student Fellowship Program enables UNSW students to undertake a fellowship with a leading international development or human rights-based organisation.

Scam warning | Financial scam targeting international students

There is currently a sophisticated financial scam targeting international students at Australian and international universities.

The scammers are predominantly targeting Chinese students by posing as officials from the Chinese Embassy or Chinese prosecutors. They are targeting individuals and accusing them of serious money laundering and other offenses. Threats include cancellation of passports and visas, deportation, and imprisonment unless large financial payments are made.

Female entrepreneurs pitch solutions to global issues | New Wave cohort 10

The top 10 teams from UNSW's New Wave Program pitched their start-up ideas to a live audience and judging panel in three minutes, designing solutions to everything from mental illness at work and supporting women through pregnancy in developing countries, to helping parents access childcare and filling gaps in fun consumer markets. 

Daylight Saving Time Change and October Long Weekend

From 2am on Sunday 2 October 2022, your clocks need to be put forward 1 hour for Daylight Saving Time.

Monday 4 October 2021 is a public holiday, celebrating Labour Day. On this day, key services at UNSW will not be available or may have reduced hours.

Additional Public Holiday for National Day of Mourning

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced a one-off Public Holiday on Thursday 22 September 2022, as a National Day of Mourning, to mark the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

In observance of the Day of Mourning, UNSW campuses in Sydney and Canberra will be closed on this date.

U21 Global Citizens 2022 - Applications close 23 Sept 2022

Summary: U21 Global Citizens is an online leadership development course for students at U21 partner institutions. With the support of trained facilitators from Common Purpose, students work together, across borders and time zones, tackling some of the world’s most pressing problems as outlined in the United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG).
