You spoke, we listened: starting in 2025, our May Graduation Festival is moving to March!
What you need to know
The March Graduation Festival will be held from Monday 24 to Saturday 29 March 2025 across two ceremony venues - the Sir John Clancy Auditorium and Leighton Hall, Scientia.
It's part of our ongoing enhancements to the graduation experience at UNSW.
Why the move to March?
A March ceremony period gives the majority of our Term 3 completers the earliest possible opportunity to celebrate their achievements and share this special milestone with family and friends!
Better weather in March also means graduates can make the most of campus photo ops and their outdoor post-ceremony reception.
Who can attend a March graduation ceremony?
Students who fulfill all of the requirements for their program of study by 24 January 2025 will be invited to attend a ceremony in March 2025. If you are completed after this date, you’ll be invited to the next Graduation Festival (either August or December).
Once you have officially completed your program, we'll send you a notification to confirm your conferral and let you know your allocated graduation ceremony period.
Please do not book any travel for your graduation until you have:

been allocated a ceremony date and time,

confirmed your attendance, and

paid your graduation fee.
