Events & Workshops
Throughout the month of July UNSW Health & Wellbeing Ambassadors will be hosting a series of events and workshops.
How To win?
Participants who hit the challenge goal of 30,000 moves for the month will go in the draw to win our prize pack. All you need to do is download the UNSW Moves App, connect your tracking application on your phone and start logging your moves.
You'll want to aim for 1,000 moves per day to be 'active' and stay on track for the goal.

- 3x 60 minute personal training sessions
What exactly are moves?
Moves can be any form of intentional movement tracked by your phone.
- 5 flights of stairs is equal to 50 moves
- half an hour of walking is 200 moves
- half an hour of running is 400 moves
You can link your heart rate device or another application your use to share your activity data. This will record moves as it measures based on intensity recorded.
NOTE: If you do not link a device – the app will track all activity as incidental – you need to turn the tracking notification on at the time of setting up the app and MOVE with your phone on you, to ensure it calculates.
