Meiji University Online Intensive Japanese Language Program 2022

The Meiji University Japanese Language Education Center will hold an online intensive Japanese Language program in February – March, 2022.

This Program, using online conference system (Zoom),  focuses on improving overall Japanese proficiency and understanding on Japanese society and culture through interaction with Meiji students and experiencing Japanese culture. 

Through the "Japanese Language Classes", participants will experience communicating in Japanese with Meiji University students, and actually post on SNS. In the "Japanese Cultural Experience" sessions, participants will not only listen to lectures but also have a chance to move around experience it! During the "Exchange Meetings" with Meiji University students, we will play games in Japanese, and you will get to know more about the Japanese culture. In addition, you can utilize "Office Hours" to seek for advise to the Meiji university teachers regarding your Japanese language studies.

Course information

  • Beginner’s class (A2 level in CEFR scale) :JLPT N4 level
  • Pre-intermediate’s class (B1 level in CEFR scale):JLPT N3~N2 level


  •  Japanese Language Class: 18hours (60 min×18 lessons)
  • Exchange Meeting with Meiji University Students: 4 hours (120 min×2 times)
  • Cultural Experience: 6 hours (90 min×3 times)

Enrolment Type: Direct Enrolment

Program Fees: JPY40, 000 (includes tuition fee and online materials)


Students should register their interest at by 9 January 2022.
