Innovator Pro is open to all UNSW students - undergraduate, postgraduate, arts, business, engineering, you name it! 

Whether you're a curious mind with a flair for creativity, an enthusiastic emerging professional looking to develop skills for the future or seeking to meet peers and like-minded people in fun and engaging context - we want to hear from you.

We are delighted to announce our proposed schedule for T3 2022 as follows:

Innovator Pro, Program Structure

26 August 2022 - Online access granted (pre-work material in Moodle)

Innovation Seminars 

Day 1: Thursday, 1 September  9.30am - 3.30pm

- Innovation Foundations: Values, Curiosity, and Teamwork
- Sustainable Practice and Innovation
- The Future Workplace

Day 2: Friday 2 September, 9.30am - 3.30pm
- Responsible Tech
- AI and Innovation 
- Thinking by Design

Day 3: Thursday 8 September, 9.30am - 3.30pm
- Craft of Consulting
- Lean on Me: A lean approach to project management 
- Good Goals: for impact and measurement

Day 4: Friday 9 September, 9.30am - 12.30pm
- Perfecting the Pitch – confident and effective presentations

T3 Week 1-5 
Coordinated meetings with peers and industry mentors to work on a 3 minute prototype pitch. Weekly meetings are self directed and coordinated by students

T3 Week 2, commencing 19 September 

Draft Pitch 1, 30 minute meeting to be coordinated with program facilitators

T3 Week 4, commencing 4 October

Draft Pitch 2, 30 minute meeting to be coordinated with program facilitators

Pitch Fest:  October 19, 4.30pm - 7.30pm

Formal program finale attended by students, guests and industry partners

***Please note, to complete the program and make the most of the opportunity you must be available to attend the full morning 9.30am-12.pm on Day 1 and Day 4. Please see commitment section below***

Commitment

The minimum expected commitment for the program is 30 hours in total, based on at least 10-12 hours of workshop attendance and a minimum recommended 15 hours contribution to a prototype project. All industry workshops are undertaken in the period leading up to the start of term .

The following key dates are essential for program completion:

Day 1, foundation session 9.30am-12.00pm 
Day 4, pitching workshop 9.30am-12.00pm 
Attend 6 out of 10 workshops 
Attend a minimum of 1 draft pitching session with your team
Attend Pitch Fest:  October 19, 4.30pm - 7.30pm - Formal program finale attended by students, guests and industry partners
