The Inter-Varsity Tech Literacy Series - WaiMASTERCLASS aims to empower female business students with technology skills so that they are equipped with the skills to initiate their careers within an industry that continuously experiences disruptive innovation.
The initiative with Dr Natalie Oh (Senior Lecturer UNSW School of Banking and Finance) as academic lead, Angela Kim (APAC Ambassador for Women in AI) as industry lead and Capital W will be presented as a series of one preliminary and four workshops over the course of four months in 2021, ultimately concluding with a Grand Challenge.
The program is in collaboration with three other active women in business societies including University of Sydney’s Network of Women, University of Western Australia’s Women in Business and Queensland University of Technology’s Women in Business and sponsor companies including WAI, Microsoft, Databricks, Tableau and Minerra.
