As part of our continued drive to enhance our emergency response capabilities, the Emergency Management Team will be commencing the annual emergency preparedness exercises, including Trial Evacuations and Lockdowns of all buildings. These exercises are designed to ensure UNSW meets legislative requirements, and to ensure the UNSW community understands what is required when a real emergency occurs.
If you are in a building when these emergency exercises are taking place you must participate; follow instructions from Emergency Coordinators, Wardens, Security, and other persons leading the exercises. The Emergency Management Team has prepared some useful videos to guide you through responding to emergencies on campus.
